The throw’s looking good but the only problem I have now is not having enough yarns. Oh bother…

To do list :
The new stash of yarns arrived yesterday and I’ve already started on my ripple throw!
I’ve made it as wide as the dining table to use it on our sofa. The yarn quality is SUPERB! From now on, I’ll only buy my yarns online.
There aren’t many yarn store in Singapore. The place where I used to buy my previous stash (Golden Dragon @ People’s Park Centre) is out of the way from where we’re staying and they don’t have a huge selection. Plus their yarns are quite expensive anyway.
Another store that I know of which also sells yarns and other crafts is Spotlight. There’s one outlet at Plaza Singapura but I heard from Haida that they don’t have much choices either.
My ripple throw is only 5% complete. I will definitely need more yarns as I bought 3 skeins of each color. I have 7 color altogether and I don’t think that with my current stash it could span long enough to cover the whole dining table.

Last night I’ve started on the 2nd fingerless mittens and now it’s done! I’m totally addicted to crochet!
I’ve made it using the same yarn for Haida’s Kufi hat.

I just completed a couple of new additions for my crochet wear; a pantoufle, another scarf, a beanie for my boyfriend and another beanie for me with a matching fingerless mittens (thanks to Bron Green!).
I haven’t had the chance to get a photo of my boyfriend in his new hat but I will post it up as soon as I have the chance. Meanwhile, I love the mitts so much I’m actually working on a new pair with the remaining yarn stash from Haida’s Kufi Hat.
I’ve also ordered some yarns from Nordic Mart because I can never get the colors that I want from the local stores here. After looking at the throw from Crafty Pants! I am further inspired to make one for our sofa. We could definitely use some colors!

During my online absence, I’ve been putting my nimble fingers to a good use and made a couple of hats, scarves and a shawl.
The two Kufi hats in pink and red was made by request for my good friends, Haida and Liyana. If you like what you see, drop me a comment with your enquiries and I’ll get back to you with details.
